You pay the £199 before I set you up. Your first monthly payment of £59 is taken 30 days after your test order prints. After that, Stripe takes £59 a month by card subscription. Your price is locked for 12 months from your first paid month. No minimum term: how stopping works. No commission per order; Stripe's card fee applies.
What DingOrder is
DingOrder (叮单) is an online ordering system for independent takeaways and small restaurants in the UK, with no commission per order. Each shop gets its own ordering website, on a web address ending in .web.app (for example yourshop.web.app) or its own domain. Customers order collection, delivery or eat-in (by scanning a QR code on the table) on an ordering page in English or Chinese, which opens in the language of the customer's phone, and each order prints automatically on the kitchen printer. Shops pay a one-off fee for the kitchen printer and setup, then a flat monthly fee; card payments are processed by Stripe, which charges its own card fees. DingOrder is run from London: shops in London are set up in person, and shops elsewhere in the UK remotely.
Built for Chinese kitchens
- Kitchen tickets in Chinese. Each order prints in the kitchen as soon as it's placed, in large Chinese characters. No one has to take the order down or type it in.
- Dish names in Chinese and English. Each dish can have a Chinese and an English name, so customers read the menu in their language and your chefs read the ticket in theirs.
- An admin in Chinese. Today's orders, menu and prices, sold-out dishes, holidays, opening hours and delivery rules, in Chinese or English.
- A weekly report in Chinese. Every Monday morning: last week's orders, your best-selling dishes and returning customers.
- For a team that works in two languages. Customers and front-of-house staff can use the menu in English; the owner and the kitchen work in Chinese.
- Support in Mandarin or English. Setup and support are in either language.
- Set meals with choices. A set meal can ask the customer to pick what goes in it, such as two mains and a rice, and each pick prints under the dish on the kitchen ticket.
A menu in English and Chinese for your customers
The menu opens in the language of the customer's phone, and they can switch at any time with the language button at the top (中文 / EN). With the optional dish search switched on, customers can search by English or Chinese dish name. They order collection, delivery or at the table, and pay by card through Stripe or in cash.

It isn't a till (EPOS)
If you were looking for a Chinese takeaway EPOS system: DingOrder isn't one. It's an online ordering system that works next to your till. Orders from your website print on their own kitchen printer, and you keep your till and card machine for the counter.
How setup works
You send me your menu (a photo of your printed menu is fine), we sign the agreement, and you pay the one-off £199. I enter your menu, and you check it. In London I connect the printer in person; elsewhere in the UK it's posted to you and I help you connect it by phone or video call. Then we place a test order together. I give you a date once I've seen your menu.
How much DingOrder costs

The first £59 is taken 30 days after your test order prints. From the second month, Stripe takes £59 from your card automatically each month, in advance (a card subscription). No minimum term. Full pricing and what's included.

Will customers who don't read Chinese understand the menu?
