£59 a month, plus a one-off £199. No minimum term. No commission per order.

One price for every shop that signs up

DingOrder

£59 a month

£199 one-off

You pay it before I set you up. It covers your kitchen printer and my setup: I enter your menu, connect the printer, set up your table links and place a test order with you. If your test order can't be made to print, I take the printer back and refund the £199 in full. Once your test order has printed, the printer is yours to keep, and the £199 isn't refunded.

  • No commission per order: the same price whether you take 10 orders a week or 500.
  • When the monthly fee starts. Your first monthly payment of £59 is taken 30 days after your test order prints. From the second month, Stripe takes £59 from your card automatically each month, in advance (a card subscription). Stop before your first monthly payment and you pay no monthly fee, with no notice: tell me, and I cancel your subscription before that payment is taken.
  • Your price is locked for 12 months from your first paid month.
  • No minimum term. Once paid months have started, tell me on WhatsApp, WeChat or by email, and your subscription ends 30 days after the day you tell me. A monthly payment that falls due before that day is still taken; nothing is charged from that day on.
  • If you stay a year, your first 12 months cost £848 in all: the one-off £199, plus 11 monthly payments of £59.
  • Each month is paid in advance, and there are no refunds for part of a month.
  • Before you start, we both sign a written agreement. It says the same as this page: the monthly price, the one-off £199, when the first monthly payment is taken, the notice and refund rules, and the price lock.

Can you rely on DingOrder?

  • DingOrder is run by Innovation Digital Media Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07438948).
  • In London, I come to your shop to set you up. Elsewhere in the UK, I post you the printer and set you up by phone or video call. The one-off £199 is the same everywhere in the UK, postage included.

Does £59 a month pay for itself?

A worked example: at a £20 order and 14% commission (Just Eat's rate when you deliver yourself is 14% + VAT on its partner page, checked 13 October 2026; this example leaves VAT out), each order that comes to you directly saves £2.80 of commission. Paid by card, Stripe's fee on it is 50p (1.5% + 20p on standard UK cards, Stripe's UK pricing, checked 13 October 2026), which leaves £2.30. £59 ÷ (£2.30 × 4.33 weeks a month) = 5.9, so £59 a month pays for itself at about 6 direct card orders a week. The one-off £199 isn't in this sum: at the same £2.30 an order, it takes about 87 direct card orders, once.

Not every order will move to your website, and your numbers will differ. Put in your own:

How many orders a week come through Just Eat, Deliveroo or Uber Eats. Your platform invoices show this.
Your platform invoice usually shows total sales and number of orders: divide one by the other.
Just Eat and Uber Eats quote commission before VAT. If your shop can't reclaim VAT, add it: 14% plus 20% VAT is 16.8%.

Rates from Just Eat's partner page and Uber Eats' UK pricing page, before VAT; Stripe's card fee from Stripe's UK pricing page. All checked 13 October 2026. The rate on your invoice is the one that counts.

With 30 platform orders a week, the commission comes to about £364 a month (at the rate you entered). Not every order will move. The £59 monthly fee pays for itself once you get about 6 orders a week directly instead of through the app, paid by card (after Stripe's 1.5% + 20p card fee). This is an estimate from your numbers, not a promise. The commission is worked out at the rate you enter (the apps publish theirs before VAT). It leaves out the one-off £199 for the kitchen printer and setup, and your own delivery costs.

How setup and the first payment work

  1. You pay the one-off £199, and I set up your shop.

You send me your menu, I enter it and you check it. In London I connect the printer at your shop; elsewhere in the UK I post it to you and we connect it by phone or video call.

  2. We place a test order together.

If your test order can't be made to print, I take the printer back and refund the £199 in full.

  3. Your first monthly payment is taken 30 days later.

Keep using the apps as normal while your regulars try your website.

  4. Want to stop before then?

Stop before your first monthly payment and you pay no monthly fee, with no notice: tell me, and I cancel your subscription before that payment is taken.

  5. After that, £59 a month is taken by card subscription, in advance.

Once paid months have started, tell me on WhatsApp, WeChat or by email, and your subscription ends 30 days after the day you tell me. A monthly payment that falls due before that day is still taken; nothing is charged from that day on.

What's included

  • Your ordering website, on a web address that comes with the monthly price (yourshop.web.app), or on your own domain if you have one. The name before .web.app has to be one nobody else has taken, so we choose it together.
  • Collection, delivery and eat-in ordering. Delivery radius, fee per mile and minimum order are set by you.
  • Table QR ordering. A link for every table; the table number prints on the kitchen ticket.
  • Card payments through Stripe, or cash for eat-in and collection.
  • Automatic kitchen tickets on your kitchen printer.
  • The owner admin: today's orders, menu and prices, sold-out dishes, holidays, opening hours, delivery rules.
  • A weekly report every Monday.
  • An allergen information page. Allergen tags show only on dishes you have checked and confirmed.
  • A privacy notice page for your customers. It's a starting point: read it and check it fits your shop before you rely on it.
  • The kitchen printer and setup, for the one-off £199. A kitchen printer, yours to keep; I enter your menu, connect the printer, set up your table links and place a test order with you. In London I do this at your shop. Elsewhere in the UK I post you the printer, postage included, and we do it by phone or video call.
  • Your Google ordering link. If you give me access to your Google Business Profile, I set your site as the preferred way to order on Google. Google may still list other ordering services too. How the Google ordering link works.
  • Support from me by WhatsApp, WeChat or phone during Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, in Mandarin or English.
  • Dishes with sizes, extras and meal deals.
  • The admin and kitchen tickets in English or Chinese.

What you pay for separately

  • Stripe's card fee. 1.5% + 20p per payment on standard UK cards and 2.8% + 20p on premium UK cards; cards from abroad cost more (Stripe's UK pricing, checked 13 October 2026). Cash orders have no Stripe fee. The card fee is not part of the monthly price.
  • Your own domain, only if you want one. Every shop gets an address (yourshop.web.app) as part of the monthly price. If you'd rather use your own domain, you register it in your own name and pay the domain company directly.
  • Table QR cards, if you want them. I give you the links; you print the cards.

Swipe the table sideways to see every column.

Once paid months have started, tell me on WhatsApp, WeChat or by email, and your subscription ends 30 days after the day you tell me. A monthly payment that falls due before that day is still taken; nothing is charged from that day on.

  • I never change your menu or your prices without asking you.
  • Your price is locked for 12 months from your first paid month. After your first 12 paid months, any new price is announced at least 60 days before it applies, and you can stop instead.
  • When you stop, nothing more is charged once your subscription ends.
  • I won't keep chasing you.

Before you sign with anyone, including me

Ask these questions:

  • How long is the minimum term, and how much notice do I give to leave?
  • Is there a setup fee, and what does it include?
  • If it doesn't work, do I get the setup fee back?
  • Can you change my menu prices?
  • Whose name is my web address in?
  • What's the card fee on each order?
  • Who do I call when the printer stops, and when can I reach them?

What DingOrder is

DingOrder (叮单) is an online ordering system for independent takeaways and small restaurants in the UK, with no commission per order. Each shop gets its own ordering website, on a web address ending in .web.app (for example yourshop.web.app) or its own domain. Customers order collection, delivery or eat-in (by scanning a QR code on the table) on an ordering page in English or Chinese, which opens in the language of the customer's phone, and each order prints automatically on the kitchen printer. Shops pay a one-off fee for the kitchen printer and setup, then a flat monthly fee; card payments are processed by Stripe, which charges its own card fees. DingOrder is run from London: shops in London are set up in person, and shops elsewhere in the UK remotely.

In London, I come to your shop to set you up. Elsewhere in the UK, I post you the printer and set you up by phone or video call. The one-off £199 is the same everywhere in the UK, postage included. See what DingOrder does.

DingOrder pricing questions

How much does DingOrder cost?

DingOrder costs £59 a month, the same price for every shop that signs up, plus a one-off £199 for your kitchen printer and setup, paid before I set you up and refunded in full if your test order can't be made to print. Your first monthly payment of £59 is taken 30 days after your test order prints. Your price is locked for 12 months from your first paid month. DingOrder takes no commission per order. Stripe's card fee (1.5% + 20p on standard UK cards) applies to card payments.

Is there a setup fee?

Yes. DingOrder's setup fee is a one-off £199, the same everywhere in the UK, postage included. On top of that, DingOrder costs £59 a month. Your first monthly payment of £59 is taken 30 days after your test order prints.

When is the first monthly payment taken?

Your first monthly payment of £59 is taken 30 days after your test order prints. Before that, you pay only the one-off £199, before I set you up. From the second month, Stripe takes £59 from your card automatically each month, in advance (a card subscription). Stop before your first monthly payment and you pay no monthly fee, with no notice: tell me, and I cancel your subscription before that payment is taken. Stripe's card fee applies to card orders from the first day.

Is there a contract or a minimum term?

DingOrder has no minimum term. Before you start, we both sign a written agreement. It says the same as this page: the monthly price, the one-off £199, when the first monthly payment is taken, the notice and refund rules, and the price lock. The price is locked for 12 months from your first paid month, which protects you from a price rise. It doesn't stop you leaving. Stop before your first monthly payment and you pay no monthly fee, with no notice: tell me, and I cancel your subscription before that payment is taken. Once paid months have started, tell me on WhatsApp, WeChat or by email, and your subscription ends 30 days after the day you tell me. A monthly payment that falls due before that day is still taken; nothing is charged from that day on.

How do I pay, and are there refunds?

DingOrder's one-off £199 is for the kitchen printer and setup. You pay the £199 before I set you up, by a card payment link or a bank transfer, whichever suits you. If you change your mind before I post the printer or come to your shop, I refund it in full. If your test order can't be made to print, I take the printer back and refund the £199 in full. Once your test order has printed, the £199 isn't refunded. The monthly fee is paid in advance by card, through a Stripe subscription. Each month is paid in advance, and there are no refunds for part of a month. Once paid months have started, tell me on WhatsApp, WeChat or by email, and your subscription ends 30 days after the day you tell me. A monthly payment that falls due before that day is still taken; nothing is charged from that day on. For example, if your card is charged on the 1st of each month and you tell me on 10 March, your subscription ends on 9 April. The payment on 1 April is taken in full and isn't part-refunded; nothing is taken from 1 May. The written agreement we both sign says the same.

Why is there a one-off £199?

Every shop needs a kitchen printer, so that orders print by themselves. The £199 pays for that printer, which is yours to keep; for posting it to you if you're outside London; and for my setup work: I enter your menu, connect the printer, set up your table links and place a test order with you. You pay it before I start. If your test order can't be made to print, I take the printer back and refund the £199 in full.

Will you change my menu prices?

DingOrder never changes your prices without asking you. You can change your prices yourself in the admin whenever you like.

Is DingOrder commission-free?

DingOrder takes no commission on orders. You pay £59 a month whether you take 10 orders a week or 500, plus the one-off £199 for your kitchen printer and setup. Card payments carry Stripe's card fee (1.5% + 20p on standard UK cards).

What happens to my web address if I stop?

The yourshop.web.app address ends when your subscription ends. A domain of your own is registered in your name, so it stays yours. There's no customer-list export in the system today, so I won't promise one.

What happens to the printer if I stop?

The printer is yours to keep. When your subscription ends, I unbind it from DingOrder's printer account, so it isn't tied to DingOrder.

What if the test order doesn't print?

If your test order can't be made to print, I take the printer back and refund the £199 in full. In London I collect it from your shop. Elsewhere in the UK I send you a prepaid returns label, so posting it back costs you nothing. I post the printer once you've sent me your menu, we've both signed the agreement and you've paid the £199. If you change your mind before I post it or come to your shop, I refund the £199 in full too.

What if the printer stops working after I go live?

DingOrder can't tell if your printer is out of paper or offline, and won't warn you. So keep the admin's today's-orders page open during service: every order shows there, printed or not. If the printer still won't print once it has paper and is back online, message me by WhatsApp, WeChat or phone during Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, and I'll deal with it then. What to do when a ticket doesn't print.

Can I see it working before I decide?

Yes. Message me and I'll show you on my phone what customers and the kitchen see in the DingOrder demo shop.

Ready to talk?

Tell me roughly how many orders a week you take through the apps, and I'll tell you honestly whether DingOrder makes sense for you.
