What DingOrder is
DingOrder (叮单) is an online ordering system for independent takeaways and small restaurants in the UK, with no commission per order. Each shop gets its own ordering website, on a web address ending in .web.app (for example yourshop.web.app) or its own domain. Customers order collection, delivery or eat-in (by scanning a QR code on the table) on an ordering page in English or Chinese, which opens in the language of the customer's phone, and each order prints automatically on the kitchen printer. Shops pay a one-off fee for the kitchen printer and setup, then a flat monthly fee; card payments are processed by Stripe, which charges its own card fees. DingOrder is run from London: shops in London are set up in person, and shops elsewhere in the UK remotely.

Why it exists
The apps take a commission on every order, including orders from customers who already know you and would happily order from you directly. DingOrder gives those regulars a direct way to order, and sends each order straight to the kitchen printer.
It won't bring you new customers. It's for the customers you already have.
Is DingOrder legit?
How do I know DingOrder is a real business?
DingOrder is run by Innovation Digital Media Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07438948). Orders are stored on Google Cloud in London (the europe-west2 region). Card payments are handled by Stripe, and card numbers never pass through the DingOrder system. There's no minimum term, and before you start we both sign a written agreement. DingOrder costs £59 a month, plus a one-off £199 for your kitchen printer and setup, which you pay before I set you up. If your test order can't be made to print, I take the printer back and refund the £199 in full. Stop before your first monthly payment and you pay no monthly fee, with no notice: tell me, and I cancel your subscription before that payment is taken. Once paid months have started, tell me on WhatsApp, WeChat or by email, and your subscription ends 30 days after the day you tell me. A monthly payment that falls due before that day is still taken; nothing is charged from that day on.
Service hours and contact
Service hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Messages outside those hours get a reply in the next service hours. It isn't a 24-hour service. Mandarin or English is fine.
